THE HEART OF BERRY NETBALL

Berry Netball Association is a small community club with a big, competitive heart. We're here to create a welcoming, inclusive space where players, families, coaches and umpires can grow, belong and thrive.

BERRY NETBALL CLUB

WE LOVE NETBALL

  • It’s energetic and fast-paced — every pass counts.
  • It builds friendships that last beyond the court.
  • It teaches teamwork, discipline and resilience.
  • It’s safe, structured, and fun for all skill levels.

At Berry Netball, we’re proud to share the joy of the game and to help every player, coach and umpire discover their potential.

Whether you’re brand new or chasing your rep dream, there’s a place for you in our club.

WHY PLAY NETBALL?

There are so many sports to choose from these days — but netball offers something truly unique. It’s fast, fun, and fiercely team-focused. It builds confidence, friendships and fitness in equal measure — and it’s a sport that continues to grow right around the world.

A TEAM SPORT LIKE NO OTHER

Netball is built on trust, communication and teamwork. Every position counts — from shooters to defenders — and success comes from reading the play, moving together and supporting each other.

SKILLS FOR THE COURT AND FOR LIFE

It's a brilliant way to learn how to lead, listen, and lift your teammates — skills that go far beyond the game.

INCLUSIVE, ACTIVE, AND SOCIAL

Netball welcomes everyone — all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Whether you're here for fun, fitness or competition, there's a place for you. Stay active, connect with others and be part of something bigger.

BERRY NETBALL OFFERS PATHWAYS FOR EVERY PLAYER

From social games to representative competition and beyond.

A GLOBAL GAME ON THE RISE

Netball is the original elite female sport in Australia, played on every continent by over 20 million players in 80 countries. And with international momentum to become an Olympic sport, there's never been a more exciting time to play.

MISSION STATEMENT

We believe in pathways for all — whether you're here for fun, fitness, friendship or chasing your rep dreams, Our goal is to support every player to reach their potential, from first passes to representative honours and beyond.

We're proud to be a part of the Kiama Netball Association and we're working to become the go-to club for players who value both community and competition. We want kids from every association to aspire to wear Berry colours.

At Berry, we invest in our people — developing our coaches, supporting our umpires, and strengthening our connection to each other. We welcome everyone who wants to play, learn and grow with us. Because at Berry Netball, we're more than a club — we're a community with pride, passion and heart.

WHAT OUR COMMUNITY SAYS

“Netball has always made me really happy, and when I moved to a new town it helped me make friends and feel part of a supportive community straight away. Coaching gave me the chance to try something new in a safe environment. Even though it was challenging at times, I’m proud of what I have achieved and of the lessons I was able to pass on to the girls.”
Grace Cranna, Player and Developing Coach
“We're proud to sponsor Berry Netball Club and are impressed by the different ways they mentor girls in the Berry community to play, coach, umpire and lead.”
Handmade Web & Design
“I was interested in umpiring because it makes me understand the game better. There are lots of opportunities in umpiring like carnivals, trials and club games. I have got a lot of support along the way from other experienced umpires, especially Kirstyn. Plus I get paid for it!”
Mia Redlich, Player and Developing Umpire
“Team sport is invaluable to our development. As a coach, I am rewarded with the opportunity to guide this development and witness the growth of the team – both as individuals and a collective. As a father to two girls, being involved with the community is important to me as I look towards their future and the growth of the club.”
Mitchell Hunter, Coach
“Berry Netball Club is a safe, supportive environment where my children have grown in confidence and resilience. They have learned to work with people of different ages and personalities, manage success and disappointment, and take feedback on board. Most importantly it's a place where netball is fun, friendships are formed, and young people are supported to grow, both on and off the court."
Kate Cranna, Parent
Berry Netball Club has been a firm part of my upbringing. I have made valuable friends and it has taught me a lot about teamwork, compassion and sportsmanship. I would encourage any young person to give netball, and Berry Netball Club in particular, a try as it has brought me many benefits.”
Macy Martijn, Player
“I love playing netball. It's fun to train with my friends every week and play games together at the weekend. The older girls who coach us are great."
Ayla Colfelt, Player
